The Walker Arts Center Gallery is excited to host the “Women of Distinction: If You Can See it, You Can Be It” exhibition by local artist, Joseph Pearson. Pearson describes the work as “…a labor of love. Love for the women in my family who loved, nurtured and encouraged me.” The exhibition is officially open and we welcome members of the community to experience this project.
In this exhibition, you will bear witness to beloved women from Pearson’s life as well as visionaries from the Asheville community and beyond who have created impactful change through their work and lives. “Women of Distinction” is a space to learn about and be inspired by these remarkable women.
The exhibition is hanging through the end of February. Gallery Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday by Appointment Only.
